THE RAIN ?

No rain, enjoy the sun! Fuerteventura does not have high hills that can retain the clouds. The wind pass over the Fuerteventura, and only at the south of the island, in Jandia, we have some rain, but just to enjoy it like a warm and delicious sky shower, ussualy in October and March.

THE WIND

When the wind turns to easter and in a south-easterly direction, it brings some dust from the Sahara Desert, called here " Calima". For surfers and windsurfers, the Fuerteventura weather is ideal, also for navigate this clear waters.


THE SUN

The sunlight is getting hard, so this summer please remember to take care of your skin, drink a lot of water, and feel cool using a hat. Relax and change your style! Fuerteventura receives the "calima" from Sahara deserts, so the sunlight is stronger than other regions. The reflection through the particles in suspension makes the sunlight very strong.

June started mainly cloudy and windly, with 22ºC to 25º C, which is may be a symphtom of the global climate changes. It is not usual. This are the records at the Fuerteventura's airport station.
